Penumbra is an Alternative Rock band from Mandan, ND established in 2023. We write and perform our own original music, as well as re-imagined cover songs from other artists we like.
Performing around the region at festivals like MoonFest, 2nd Breakfest, Riot Fest and Prairie Pothole Music Festival as well as various venues including The Original Bar (Minot), Atypical Brewing (Minot), Dialectic Brewery & Ciderhouse (Mandan), Laughing Sun Brewing (Bismarck), The Spot (Minot), and other great places like Rhythm Records (Bismarck).

Having been ND's premier Grateful Dead tribute band since 2007, playing countless packed shows and been such a staple in the ND music festival scene, we welcome The Quarterly to the Eclipse stage!
Paired with The Artificial AI's, a Bismarck band with nothing artificial about them, blending 2-tone, ska, reggae in the such an experimental psychedelic with a dash of meloncholy trippy breakdowns and atmospheres. Toting legends in the community with 7 pieces to the puzzle, all sounds are covered and done with pure energy!
